Five games into the 2022 season, who are a few of the players expected to hit free agency in 2023 that the Minnesota Vikings should keep an eye on?

Given the start by the Minnesota Vikings during the 2022 season, the 2023 offseason could be an opportunity for the team to add the necessary pieces to hunt for a championship.

There are a number of areas on the Vikings’ roster that the team’s front office could look to improve next year, especially on the defensive side of the ball.

Minnesota could turn to free agency in 2023 to try and fix some of their current weaknesses. Heading into next year, there are already several talented players that are expected to become free agents.

Currently, OverTheCap.com has the Vikings projected to open the 2023 offseason with just under $6 million in cap space. That is obviously not enough for Minnesota to make any significant changes to their roster, but the front office should have plenty of paths to take next year to create additional cap space.
