Adam Thielen – WR
The stats that Adam Thielen has put together this season aren’t the same stellar numbers we’ve become used to seeing from him in recent years. But the 32-year-old Minnesota native has still stepped up in big spots this year.
This past weekend was no different for Thielen, and even though he’s taken a backseat to star receiver Justin Jefferson, he’s shown that he still has the ability to contribute to the team.
A performance with four receptions for 36 yards and one touchdown isn’t jumping off the page at anyone, but Thielen had some crucial catches during the Vikings’ Week 6 win over the Dolphins.
His touchdown catch gave Minnesota some much-needed cushion, and while Justin Jefferson was running wild, Thielen helped move the ball down the field with some crucial receptions in addition to drawing penalties as well. He made his catches count in Miami, and he was a key part in the Vikings’ Week 6 win.
Even though the team may look to replace him in the upcoming offseason during next year’s NFL Draft or through free agency, the homegrown Viking is still producing in his ninth season with the franchise.
