Tommy Tremble – TE (Carolina Panthers)

The only player from Carolina that could be a reasonable target for Minnesota given his price would be Tommy Tremble. Tremble is not much of a receiving threat, but he is a stout run blocker and versatile athlete.

Adding him would ultimately get rid of the need for Mundt or Ben Ellefson while keeping Irv Smith in the lineup as a receiving threat. The Vikings have run the ball pretty well according to box scores, but aside from one good game from Dalvin Cook and one breakaway run in Week 6, Minnesota has been slow to establish the run.

As the offensive line continues to grow, it would be nice to see the Vikings continue to provide help in the trenches. Tommy Tremble can be an under-the-radar acquisition that may not get a ton of attention but could do wonders for the offense.

Carolina’s standing as a sell-low organization gives some reason to make an offer for Tremble, but the aforementioned tight ends are much more helpful as trade options.

If the Vikings want to add a defensive weapon for a relatively cheap price, one player comes to mind.
