The Minnesota Vikings head into the bye week at 5-1, riding a 4-game win streak. Who are some players who could use a week off the most?

The Minnesota Vikings have a bye week in Week 7 of the NFL season, and with a 17-game season, the team has to endure 11 more contests after the bye.

Having that many games left after the bye week is daunting, so there’s no doubt that every player on the Vikings’ roster will use their time off to get their bodies healed up and ready for the remainder of the year.

Minnesota, as a whole, has stayed fairly healthy (knock on wood). But that doesn’t mean that there aren’t Vikings players dealing with nagging pains that could use a break.

One of the biggest things Minnesota can use the bye week for is to get their minds in order. Even though the Vikings are sitting at 5-1, it is obvious that the team is not clicking on all levels, and their bye is the perfect time to get things in order and try to fix the kinks in their systems.

A 10-punt week vocalizes this fact, as Minnesota’s offense looked stagnant for most of their recent game. While the whole team could use their time off to improve, who are a few Vikings players that could benefit the most from their bye week?
