Minnesota will upset Buffalo in Week 10 and then lose in Week 11

Before their season even started, many chalked up the Vikings’ road matchup in Week 10 against the Buffalo Bills as a loss. Many still do, even with Minnesota’s 5-1 start.

Why wouldn’t this be the thought of the majority though? The Bills were a Super Bowl favorite heading into the season, and they still are a Super Bowl favorite. Buffalo is off to a 5-1 start this year as well, and three of their wins have come on the road over the Los Angeles Rams, Baltimore Ravens, and Kansas City Chiefs.

The Vikings know they are in for a battle in Week 10, and almost no one inside the Bills’ home stadium will be expecting Minnesota to leave the field with a victory.

But this type of mentality will only play in the Vikings’ favor. Since no one will really be expecting them to win, Minnesota can almost try whatever they want in order to defeat Buffalo. What’s the worst that could happen? The Vikings will lose just like everyone had already thought?

Kevin O’Connell will have his team ready for this mid-November meeting in Western New York and Minnesota will find a way to end the matchup with a win.

But then, of course, the Vikings will be brought back to Earth almost immediately when they drop their very next game to the Dallas Cowboys.

Both matchups will be learning experiences for Minnesota and O’Connell will use these two games to fuel the team for the rest of the season.
