Predicting the rest of the 2022 season for the Vikings and their NFC North rivals
By Adam Carlson
Weeks 1-7
Since the Minnesota Vikings are installing a new offense and defense with a new coaching staff, most people assumed the Packers and back-to-back league MVP Aaron Rodgers would control the division in 2022.
That has not been the case. Green Bay’s defense has taken a step back while the offense struggles to execute. Their mental mistakes have led them to a losing record through the first seven weeks.
MVP: Aaron Rodgers, QB – 163 completions for 1,597 yards, 11 TDs, 3 INTs
Fans have been saying Rodgers is washed up but he’s working with limited help and still has an excellent TD/INT ratio. If Green Bay can clean up its mistakes in other areas, there is no reason they couldn’t make a late run for the division title.
Record Prediction: 8-9
Green Bay has yet to face to Bills, Dolphins, Eagles, Cowboys, and Rams. All of those are good teams that will give the Packers trouble. It feels weird to think that the green and gold might not make the playoffs this year, but unless they turn things around, they could be looking at some major changes this offseaon.
