. Detroit Lions. 4. team. 50. . 1-5

Weeks 1-7

If the ChicagoBears are the overachievers of the NFC North and the Green Bay Packers are the underachievers, where does that leave the Lions? Are they flat-out the disappointments of the league in general?

Through the first few weeks of the season, Detroit had the No. 1 offense in the league with a young defense that was gaining experience and an inspiring coaching staff. Somehow, that hasn’t resulted in wins and the Lions look like the team of old.

MVP: Aidan Hutchinson, DE – 4.5 sacks, 17 total tackles

In typical Detroit fashion, it looks like the Lions will be in the conversation for a top-three draft pick once again unless they can turn things around quickly. At this point, it is getting sad to watch the Lions not get any better.

Record Prediction: 4-13

It’s not really a lack of talent that is holding Detroit back, so it will be interesting to see what it will take for them to start winning games. They had opportunities to win games but squandered those chances this season. They won’t win many more games this year
