Dalvin can still Cook

The early weeks of this season saw the Minnesota Vikings try to run their offense through star receiver Justin Jefferson and use Dalvin Cook to attempt to keep the team balanced in their attack on opposing defenses.

An injury to Cook as well as the new offensive philosophy led to the star running back failing to reach 100 yards in any of the team’s six previous contests. Thank goodness that changed in Week 8.

Cook ended the game with a total of 20 carries for 111 yards and one touchdown, which included an excellent 30-yard run that showed off his speed and vision and helped to put away the Cardinals.

A solid mix of run and pass will keep Vikings’ opponents on their toes and force them to play a more honest defense. With the combination of Dalvin Cook and Justin Jefferson defenses will need to pick a priority to stop, making things very difficult for them.
