Garrett Bradbury – C

Garrett Bradbury has been surprisingly solid this season for the Vikings. He hasn’t gotten pushed around in pass protection like he used to, and his run blocking has been very solid. His PFF grades have been steadily climbing all season long, even landing in the upper 70s.

As good as he’s been this season, we got a glimpse of the old Garrett Bradbury against the Cardinals. He was overpowered at times, and pretty much all the pressure Kirk Cousins faced on the day came from the interior.

Bradbury’s good play must also be getting to his head a bit, as he drew a taunting penalty early in the game. After a big Dalvin Cook run for 30 yards, Bradbury was seen standing over Budda Baker and yelling something at him. Apparently, he was telling Baker that he was soft, which is shocking coming from someone who has proven to lack power his entire career. That penalty was costly as it took 15 yards off of the gain, and the Vikings were unable to turn that drive into points.

Garrett Bradbury has been much improved this season. However, his performance against the Cardinals wasn’t his best, and that penalty he drew was another one of these little mistakes the Vikings keep making that keep these games close.
