Minnesota Vikings vs. Cowboys

The Minnesota Vikings begin a crucial stretch of home games by welcoming the Dallas Cowboys to U.S. Bank Stadium in Week 11. This is a good chance for Kevin O’Connell to get his team back on track after losing to the Buffalo Bills in this scenario, but ‘America’s Team’ has ambitions of its own after catching the eye in 2022 so far.

Despite not having quarterback Dak Prescott for a few games through injury, Dallas didn’t miss a beat with Cooper Rush under center. Having an exceptional defense helps, with Micah Parsons taking his game to a completely different level this season en route to a potential NFL Defensive Player of the Year award.

Minnesota was humbled by the Cowboys last season and won’t want the same to happen again. This does look like a different team from the one that took the field that day with Mike Zimmer at the helm, but it would be wise for the Vikings to take this opponent extremely seriously based on their performance levels to date.

Having a home advantage will assist, or it should. There might also be opportunities for the passing attack to thrive if the offensive line lives up to their end of the bargain versus Parsons and others.

Prediction: Win (8-2)

The Vikings will need to prove that they can overcome adversity following a loss when up against another postseason hopeful. It will be tight, but they have enough in their locker to dispose of Dallas.
