3 best prop bets for Minnesota Vikings vs. Dallas Cowboys in Week 11
By Adam Patrick
Which Minnesota Vikings prop bets have the best chance of hitting during the team’s upcoming Week 11 matchup against the Dallas Cowboys?
Coming off of a gigantic win over the Buffalo Bills in Week 10, the attention of the Minnesota Vikings will now have to be on getting a win over the Dallas Cowboys, who have a 6-3 record through the first 10 weeks of the season.
For the Cowboys, they will be looking to get back on track after suffering a surprising loss to an underwhelming Green Bay Packers team last week. On the other sideline, the Vikings will be looking for their first home win against Dallas since 2010.
When it comes to the performances of the actual players on the field, which Minnesota prop bets have the best chance of turning into winners during the team’s contest against the Cowboys this weekend?
Best Minnesota Vikings prop bets for Week 11 vs. the Dallas Cowboys
Kirk Cousins Prop Bet:
- OVER 1.5 touchdown passes (-115)
Against the Bills last week was actually the first game for Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins since Week 5 in which he didn’t toss multiple touchdown passes.
Cousins has thrown for at least two touchdowns five times this season, and he should be able to do it again on Sunday. The Minnesota quarterback will be facing a Dallas defense that has allowed the opposing signal-caller to throw for multiple touchdowns in three of their last four games.
Dalvin Cook Prop Bet:
- OVER 78.5 rushing yards (-115)
This season, the Cowboys have one of the worst rushing defenses in the NFL. Only three teams in the league have a higher rushing yards allowed per game average than Dallas this year.
Life isn’t going to get any easier for them on Sunday when they go up against Vikings running back Dalvin Cook, who is averaging 80.8 yards on the ground per contest this season, including 119 rushing yards last week in Buffalo.
Adam Thielen Prop Bet:
- Anytime TD Scorer (+125)
During his career, Minnesota wide receiver Adam Thielen has had some of his best performances when facing the Cowboys.
In his last two matchups against Dallas, Thielen has caught a total of three touchdowns in addition to averaging seven catches and 101 receiving yards. We should expect the veteran Vikings receiver to find the end zone against the Cowboys once again on Sunday.
