4 wins in Minnesota Vikings history that were instant classics

2017 NFC Divisional Round
- Vikings beat the Saints
Until time simmers and the debate begins if the Bills game takes its spot, for now, the best instant classic and maybe an all-time game in Vikings history is the matchup that produced the Minnesota Miracle.
The team faced the New Orleans Saints, a franchise they share a storied rivalry against, in a jammed packed U.S. Bank Stadium, ready to see the 13-3 Vikings play their first postseason game.
They closed the first half leading the Saints 17-0, but New Orleans had a lot left in the tank for the second half. The Saints caught and passed the Vikings with a 21-20 score and a 24-23 score when both teams answered with field goals.
But with ten seconds left, quarterback Case Keenum and Stefon Diggs shocked the world.
Keenum floated a pass to Diggs, who seemingly was going to step out of bounds in hopes of the leg of Kai Forbath taking them to victory. Instead, defender Marcus Williams missed Diggs, who took the ball to the end zone as time expired.
As Joe Buck put it, it was unbelievable, and the Skol Chant echoed US Bank stadium as the snake-bitten franchise was finally on the right side of football serendipity.
