Although the defensive line might not be that much of a need right now, this could change depending on what occurs during the 2023 offseason. The Vikings haven’t got that much money to throw around, but restructures and early releases might free up further funds in pursuit of building upon what’s looking like a promising campaign.

All the big hitters across the defensive front are under contract in 2023. However, the likes of Danielle Hunter, Za’Darius Smith, and Dalvin Tomlinson aren’t getting any younger, and if those in power get the opportunity to bring someone like Bryan Bresee into the fold, they should consider it.

Bresee is a key component within a stout Clemson front seven. Any injury concerns that surrounded the player before the campaign have been put to bed, with his explosiveness and ability to wreak havoc in opposing backfields there for all to see in 2022.

There is a lot to like about Bresee’s potential in Minnesota’s 3-4 scheme. He could occupy a defensive end position and thrive with the talent around him, which makes this a tempting proposition if he was available.

Whether the Vikings’ outstanding run of results puts them out of reach is debatable. Bresee’s stock has soared in the face of significant adversity this season, displaying high character traits on and off the field that won’t go unnoticed by NFL scouts.
