Despite injury concern, top Vikings defender active vs. Cowboys

Minnesota Vikings outside linebacker Za’Darius Smith was not among the players on the team’s inactive list for the Week 11 game against the Dallas Cowboys.

Heading into Sunday’s big NFC showdown against the Dallas Cowboys, there was some concern that Minnesota Vikings outside linebacker Za’Darius Smith might be among the inactive players for the matchup.

Luckily for the Vikings, that is not the case, as Smith will suit up on Sunday to help the purple and gold attempt to improve their record to 9-1 when they take on a talented Cowboys team.

Despite Minnesota having their top pass rusher in the lineup for the contest, they will still be without two starters in defensive lineman Dalvin Tomlinson and rookie cornerback Akayleb Evans, who filled in for the injured Cameron Dantzler last week.
