6 biggest takeaways from the Vikings loss vs. Cowboys in Week 11
By Adam Carlson
The trenches are the downfall
The last thing mentioned in the previous takeaway was the pressure on Kirk Cousins. The Minnesota Vikings had absolutely no answer for the pass rush of the Dallas Cowboys in Week 11 and were bullied in the trenches.
Kirk Cousins was sacked seven times before he took a seat for the rest of the game, breaking his streak of games with at least one touchdown pass, but not throwing an in perception eitherin his 23 pass attempts.
Tony Pollard averaged 5.3 yards per carry and 18.2 yards per reception, so don’t be surprised if teams try to replicate this success against Minnesota in the future. On a positive note, not a lot of teams haver such good offensive linemen and talent at running back.
