It’s a short week

Another silver lining from this loss is that it is a short week for the Vikings. They played Sunday afternoon and now turn around and play Thanksgiving night. This short turnaround can help them quickly get the sour taste of an ass-kicking out of their mouths and get the team back on track.

Another positive for the team having a short week is they won’t have to hear a week-long narrative about how the team is pretenders, and once they play a quality team, they fold.

There have been questions by naysayers that Minnesota has been extremely lucky getting to 8-1 playing teams with injured starters and having miraculous things happen for them to come back in games to get the win.

This horrible loss to the Cowboys definitely puts gasoline on that firey narrative, but the Vikings will only have to hear it for a couple of days.

Maybe it’ll motivate them to show up and play to the level we’ve already seen this season, but the short week will take a couple of days of griping away from the haters, and that has to be considered a positive.
