Minnesota Vikings vs. New England Patriots early prediction and odds for Week 12
By Adam Patrick
For the first time ever, the Minnesota Vikings will host a Thanksgiving game when they take on the New England Patriots on Thursday night.
After one of the worst losses in the history of the franchise, the Minnesota Vikings quickly get a chance to redeem themselves when they take on the New England Patriots in a Week 12 matchup on Thanksgiving night inside U.S. Bank Stadium.
Looking at their 6-4 record, the Patriots might not seem like too much of a threat to the Vikings. However, New England is 5-1 in their last six games, and during this stretch, they’ve held their opponents to an average of just 12 points per contest.
Minnesota has a battle on their hands this week. But if the Vikings want to gain their respect back, a win over the Patriots will certainly help.

Minnesota Vikings vs. New England Patriots prediction Week 12
The last time the Vikings got a win on their home field over the Patriots, Bill Belichick was the defensive coordinator of the New York Jets, and Mac Jones wasn’t even born yet.
On Thursday, Minnesota will attempt to snap their home losing streak against Belichick, Jones, and the rest of New England on national television.
In the recent past, this probably would have been easy to chalk up as a loss for the Vikings. But let’s get crazy and give Minnesota’s new coaching staff the benefit of the doubt based on the success they’ve already been able to achieve this season.
Vikings head coach, and former Patriots quarterback, Kevin O’Connell will get his team back on track this week and send Minnesota fans home happy on Thanksgiving night by helping the purple and gold get a win.
Prediction: Vikings win
