5 impending free agents the Vikings should re-sign in 2023

When thinking about important players on a team, most minds will immediately go to those which line up on the offensive or defensive side of the ball, special teams are often forgotten or passed over since they are typically not heard from unless they mess up.
One player Minnesota Vikings fans haven’t heard a lot about this season is long snapper Andrew DePaola. Although there have been kicking issues with the team, it’s hard to pin any of that blame on DePaola.
The team will likely bring in competition for their kicker after this season’s end but not for their punter. Changing up the continuity can be a mistake or prematurely moving on from a player can lead to them finding success elsewhere.
DePaola will likely not be an investment the team would have to worry about. For an inexpensive contract, they can keep a solid part of a unit in tact and not have to spend time or resources on finding a replacement.
