What are the best Minnesota Vikings prop bets to take a chance on when they face the New York Jets on Sunday inside U.S. Bank Stadium?

Following a few extra days off after their last game took place on Thanksgiving, the Minnesota Vikings will head back out on the field this weekend for a Week 13 matchup with the New York Jets inside U.S. Bank Stadium.

The Vikings are coming off a 33-26 win over the New England Patriots, while the Jets demolished the Chicago Bears in Week 12 by a final score of 31-10. New York will be looking to get their first win in Minnesota since 2006.

When it comes to making a few wagers on Sunday’s contest, what are some of the Vikings-related prop bets that have the best shot at becoming winners?

Best Minnesota Vikings prop bets for Week 13 vs. the New York Jets

Kirk Cousins Prop Bet:

  • UNDER 253.5 passing yards (-115)

Last week, Minnesota quarterback Kirk Cousins was able to throw for 299 against a Patriots defense that is one of the best in the NFL at defending the pass. On Sunday, Cousins will be facing a New York defense that is also one of the league’s best when it comes to stopping their opponent’s passing attack.

Unlike his performance against New England, Cousins will probably have an even tougher time throwing against the Jets on Sunday. Since Week 4, opposing quarterbacks have thrown for an average of only 198 passing yards per game against New York. Cousins throwing for less than 253.5 yards this weekend seems highly likely.

Dalvin Cook Prop Bet:

  • UNDER 70.5 rushing yards (-115)

Aside from his long 81-yard touchdown run against the Buffalo Bills in Week 10, Dalvin Cook has been struggling a bit for the Vikings during their last few games.

Cook only rushed for 42 yards on 22 carries last week against the Patriots, and this was the second time in the last four weeks that he finished a contest with less than 50 yards on the ground.

The Jets did just allow Bears running back David Montgomery to rush for 79 yards last week, but he was just the second opposing running back to gain at least 70 rushing yards in a game against New York since Week 6.

Minnesota will probably have to find other ways to get the ball in Cook’s hands because just calling standard run plays for him all afternoon long likely isn’t going to work against the Jets on Sunday.

T.J. Hockenson Prop Bet:

  • OVER 46.5 receiving yards (-115)

T.J. Hockenson has quickly made a significant impact for the Vikings since his first game with the team back in Week 9.

Hockenson is averaging 48 receiving yards per contest during his four weeks with Minnesota, and he’ll be going up against a Jets defense that has allowed 53.5 receiving yards to opposing tight ends this season. He should have no problem finishing with more than 46.5 receiving yards on Sunday.
