The Minnesota Vikings have an opportunity to expand on the lead in their division if they can defeat the visiting New York Jets. Here is why they will win.

With a 9-2 record, the Minnesota Vikings have overcome some really difficult situations to position themselves near the top of the NFC and at the top of their division. They will face another tough challenge on Sunday when they face the Jets.

It doesn’t feel like that long ago that the New York Jets were a team that wasn’t much of an obstacle. However, this year’s Jets team has some great pieces and has seven wins to go with only four losses in a closely-contested AFC East.

The Jets must be taken seriously. They are a solid team with few weaknesses to exploit. Don’t expect a high-scoring affair between these two highly-talented teams. They both make few mistakes while limiting possessions.
