Patrick Jones II – DE

Patrick Jones II is one of the few players remaining from the Vikings’ 2021 draft class, and he continues to show why

In limited playing time, Jones has shown to be a spark when his name is called, and he proved that again against the Jets. While it’s hard to give him a lot of reps with the star pass rushers ahead of him on the depth chart, it’s equally as hard to keep the second-year man off the field.

Jones had one sack against the Jets, as well as 0.5 run stuffs in the snaps he was given, continuing his stellar season as a rotational player.

He has overwhelmed opposing offensive linemen at times, and he has given Vikings fans a sense of safety when Danielle Hunter or Za’Darius Smith need to take a breather.

Having depth on the edges is something that Minnesota badly needed, and with Jones playing great, along with D.J. Wonnum, it appears the Vikings have some help from their reserves.
