Danielle Hunter – OLB

It’s unheard of for Danielle Hunter to make the disappointing list, and now he’s done it two weeks in a row. Seriously though, where has number 99 been? He had just three tackles last week against the Jets and just two against the Lions. Yes, we know he’s playing a new position with different roles and assignments, but it’s time for him to man up and start making some plays.

Danielle Hunter is a freak of a human with muscles on his muscles and veins on top of his veins. His arms are like tentacles and he has a rare blend of speed and power. His defensive coordinator isn’t doing him any favors with how he is using him, but it’s time for him to use those God-given gifts and start dominating the man or men who are tasked to block him.

Maybe Hunter is overthinking his position and assignments, or maybe he has an undisclosed injury, but we just aren’t seeing the Hunter that we were expecting. Za’Darius Smith hasn’t been much better in recent weeks, but at least we see him hit the quarterback at least once or twice a game.

Hunter and Smith need to get it together and come out with a dominating performance against a miserable Colts offense, as it is long overdue.
