Despite being down to their third-string quarterback in Brock Purdy, the San Francisco 49ers delivered a very dominant performance in their Week 14 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, winning by a final score of 35-7.

With the 49ers’ victory and Minnesota’s loss to the Lions, the Vikings now only have a one-game lead over San Francisco for the No. 2 seed in the NFC.

Minnesota no longer has any wiggle room as the 49ers will end up with the second seed in the NFC over the Vikings if the two teams finish the regular season with the same record.
