3 best prop bets for Minnesota Vikings vs. Indianapolis Colts in Week 15
By Adam Patrick
Which Minnesota Vikings prop bets have the best chance to turn into winners when the team takes on the Indianapolis Colts in Week 15?
After a failed chance to win the NFC North title last weekend, the Minnesota Vikings will take their second crack at capturing the division crown on Saturday when they face the Indianapolis Colts inside U.S. Bank Stadium.
The Vikings have lost each of their last six matchups to the Colts, with their last win coming all the way back in 1997.
When Minnesota attempts to snap their losing streak against Indianapolis this weekend, what will be some of the best Vikings-related prop bets to place wagers on?
Best Minnesota Vikings prop bets for Week 15 vs. the Indianapolis Colts
Kirk Cousins Prop Bet:
- UNDER 270.5 passing yards (-115)
After shredding the Detroit Lions last week, Minnesota quarterback Kirk Cousins will be going up against a much tougher Indianapolis pass defense on Saturday.
In their last five games, the Colts have held opposing signal-callers under 200 passing yards, and only two opposing quarterbacks have thrown for more than 270 yards against the Indianapolis defense during the entire 2022 season.
Cousins can still have a good performance this weekend, but we just shouldn’t expect him to have a record-setting day like he did against the Lions.
Dalvin Cook Prop Bet:
- OVER 69.5 rushing yards (-115)
It’s fair to say that Dalvin Cook has been in a bit of a slump during the last few weeks. Cook is coming off a terrible performance against Detroit, where he only managed to rush for a grand total of 23 yards.
On Saturday, he’ll get the opportunity to go up against a Colts defense that has given up an average of 178 rushing yards to their opponent in their last three games. Cook could end up being the difference-maker for the Vikings in this Week 15 matchup with Indianapolis.
Justin Jefferson Prop Bet:
- UNDER 93.5 receiving yards (-125)
Since we’re expecting Cousins’ numbers to come down from last week, there should be similar feelings about Justin Jefferson for Saturday’s game against the Colts.
Jefferson went off last weekend against Detroit, finishing the contest with a whopping 223 receiving yards. But don’t bet on that happening again on Saturday. Even though he has been almost unstoppable recently, the Minnesota pass-catcher will likely finish with fewer than 100 receiving yards against Indianapolis.
