5 Bold Predictions: Minnesota Vikings vs. Indianapolis Colts – Week 15
By Chris Schad
Pittman will have 150 receiving yards
The Colts offense has revolved around Jonathan Taylor since Jeff Saturday took over, but Indianapolis wouldn’t be smart if they tried to take advantage of the Vikings’ defense.
Minnesota is last in the league, allowing 7.2 passing yards per net attempt this season. The Colts have struggled in the passing game, but Pittman has evolved into a No. 1 receiver, catching 76 passes for 755 yards and two touchdowns.
Top receivers have had their way with the Vikings’ defense in recent weeks, but even lesser receivers have found ways to have success. Jameson Williams and D.J. Chark each had long touchdowns in the Vikings’ loss to the Lions, and others such as Garrett Wilson, Tyreek Hill, and DeAndre Hopkins have had their way against Minnesota’s secondary.
Pittman could very well be the next receiver in line, and it could keep this game closer than it needs to be.
