Minnesota will clinch the NFC North

Perhaps the third time is a charm for the Vikings. The Vikings had a chance to clinch the NFC North against the Jets, but the Lions kept their division title hopes alive with a win over Jacksonville. Minnesota could have gotten the job done against Detroit last week, but the Lions had other ideas. The Vikings can once again take care of their own business on Saturday, and the Colts could finally be the team to let them through.

Indianapolis has some talent, but they’re a team in desperate need of a rebuild. Jonathan Taylor and Pittman are two players that can do damage, but the Colts are short on playmakers that can truly make the Vikings’ defense pay. Mix in injuries on the defensive side of the ball, and the Colts are probably waiting to make an offer that Jim Harbaugh can’t refuse this offseason.

It’s not going to be pretty, but Minnesota will beat Indianapolis and turn their attention to the final three weeks of the season.
