Minnesota is out for respect

11 wins, upsets, and the biggest comeback in NFL history haven’t been enough to earn the Minnesota Vikings some respect from media outlets and experts who analyze the NFL on a regular basis.

Instead, you’re more likely to hear them say the purple and gold are frauds instead of contenders. Although opposing teams likely fear a team that finds a way to win even if it’s not by a large margin, Minnesota gets written off.

At the moment, the Vikings are the number two seed in the NFC and have already won their division as well as a playoff spot. Being the underdog is one thing but not being taken seriously is a major disrespect.

An injury to Jalen Hurts in Philly could open the door for the Vikings to try to push for that top seed or at least get a tighter grip on the second spot. Plus, many Minnesota fans wouldn’t mind paying the Giants back by making their road to the playoffs even more difficult.
