Minnesota will not need a big comeback to beat the Giants
It was one year ago when Anthony Barr theorized that the crowd at U.S. Bank Stadium was having a “Christmas hangover” after a loss to the Los Angeles Rams. While the Vikings will run the same risk this week, there’s a good chance fans will have a lot more to cheer for against the Giants.
The Vikings are playing for the second seed in the NFC, and a win would help them stay ahead of the San Francisco 49ers in the hunt for a second home playoff game. The Giants aren’t as bad as they were a year ago, but the Vikings should have enough talent on both sides of the ball to get the job done.
In true Vikings fashion, this game will be closer than it should be, but Minnesota should be in the driver’s seat and head to Green Bay at 12-3.
Prediction: Vikings win 27-20
