When they take on the New York Giants on Saturday, the Minnesota Vikings won’t have center Garrett Bradbury in the lineup for the third week in a row.

After it seemed like Minnesota Vikings center Garrett Bradbury was close to returning from a back injury last week against the Indianapolis Colts, some were led to believe that the veteran offensive lineman would be back in action during the Vikings’ upcoming Week 16 showdown against the New York Giants.

Unfortunately, Bradbury’s recovery went in the wrong direction last weekend when he was involved in a car accident on his way home from the win over the Colts. The accident aggravated the center’s back injury, and he didn’t participate in any of Minnesota’s practices this week.

As a result, Bradbury will be out of action for the third game in a row when the Vikings host the Giants inside U.S. Bank Stadium on Saturday.

Ankle injury “still a hiccup” for Minnesota Vikings CB Cam Dantzler heading into Week 16 vs. New York Giants

Back in Week 14, Minnesota cornerback Cameron Dantzler returned to the field after missing the previous four games due to an ankle injury. Then last weekend against Indianapolis, Dantzler was sidelined once again, but this time, it was due to an illness.

Heading into Saturday’s contest with New York, the corner’s ankle injury still seems to be a bit of a problem. Just take a look at the clip below from KSTP’s Darren Wolfson.

Dantzler is listed as questionable on the Vikings’ final injury report this week, so he still has a chance to suit up on Saturday. But with the way fellow cornerback Duke Shelley has stepped up for Minnesota during the last few weeks, don’t be surprised if Dantzler is sidelined against the Giants.

Minnesota Vikings ILB Eric Kendricks trending toward playing vs. New York Giants in Week 16

Vikings linebacker Eric Kendricks made several plays last week to help the team get a miraculous comeback win over the Colts. But during the matchup, Kendricks also suffered a hip injury that landed him on the injury report this week.

Good news though, as the veteran linebacker was able to be a full participant in Minnesota’s final practice of the week on Thursday. So it would appear that Kendricks’ chances of taking the field on Saturday are pretty high.

Below is the final injury report for both the Vikings and Giants heading into Saturday’s matchup.

Vikings Final Injury Report:

  • Garrett Bradbury (C) – OUT with a back injury
  • Cameron Dantzler (CB) – QUESTIONABLE with an ankle injury
  • Eric Kendricks (ILB) – QUESTIONABLE with a hip injury

Giants Final Injury Report:

  • Adoree’ Jackson (CB) – OUT with a knee injury
  • Shane Lemieux (OG) – OUT with a toe injury
