Kene Nwangwu – KR/RB

Kene Nwangwu should’ve been voted into the Pro Bowl as a rookie and proved worthy in year two, but again got the shaft.

Nwagnwu has returned 30 kicks on the season for 779 yards for a 25.97 average. That is second in the NFL, and he also has returned one to the house. He has over 300 more yards than KeVontae Turpin, who also doesn’t have a touchdown but still won the popular vote.

Sometimes the Pro Bowl comes down to being a popularity competition, and clearly, Dallas fans came out in droves to support Turpin, who, while being electric, simply doesn’t have the stats to back up the Pro Bowl berth.

Nwangwu is definitely a Pro Bowl-caliber return man. Who knows what he’ll have to do to get the league-wide recognition to eventually get voted in? At least his opponents know how dangerous he is, and the lack of opportunities he gets to return kicks speaks more about his ability than votes for a post-season skills competition.
