Minnesota will sweep the Packers in 2022

The Vikings have made a living off one-score games this season, but the one game they won by multiple scores was against the Packers. Green Bay has won three in a row, but after beating Justin Fields, a transitioning Baker Mayfield, and a concussed Tua Tagovailoa, it’s fair to question the legitimacy of those wins.

While Packers fans have been wired to scream “FRAUDS!” at these claims, they also have to deal with a Vikings team that has bigger goals in the final weeks. O’Connell has stressed the importance of rotating players to make sure they’re healthy for the playoffs, and the revolving door could open an opportunity to get a win.

That’s where the eye test comes into play. The analytics say the Vikings are a fraudulent team, but they’re one that has found a way to make plays to win games. The Packers have struggled to find that consistency, and with Christian Watson, Keisean Nixon, and Aaron Jones banged up, they might not be at 100 percent to take on the Vikings.

That should lead to another win and lead Minnesota one step closer to clinching the second seed in the playoffs.
