Bragging rights

We’ve already talked about how important this game is to both teams, which means one team will walk out happy and another will be hugely disappointed. Vikings fans are drooling at the idea of winning this game.

A win by Minnesota would likely end any playoff hopes for the Packers, That’s the kind of bragging rights that are huge in a border battle like this. Meanwhile, Green Bay winning would avenge their loss from earlier this season.

Minnesota losing would also eliminate any hope of taking the number one seed from the Eagles and narrow the gap between the Vikings and the 49ers for the second seed in the NFC playoff picture.

There is always an added incentive for players as well as fans when the Minnesota Vikings take on the Green Bay Packers. Division games are always like that but this should be a huge game that more sensitive fans may want to stay off social media for.
