Stefon Diggs – WR

After forcing his way out of the Vikings, wide receiver Stefon Diggs has taken his game to a completely new level. Having a prolific signal-caller such as Josh Allen helps, but his newfound maturity and leadership are going down extremely well with the Buffalo Bills.

Diggs is always going to put up Pro Bowl-caliber numbers in this offense. His natural route-running and ability to get open quickly are jaw-dropping at times, which has been evident throughout 2022 as the former Maryland star cements his status as one of the league’s best at the position.

In 15 games, the stats tell their own story, Diggs has brought in 101 receptions for 1,325 receiving yards and ten touchdowns. He’s accumulated no fewer than six 100-yard games and boasts a phenomenal 89.9 grade from Pro Football Focus as a result of his efforts.

Trading Diggs was a necessity to prevent a toxic atmosphere within the locker room. But make no mistake, this worked out extremely well for the Vikings, too.

A gift from the football gods saw Justin Jefferson fall into their laps, who is now a truly elite weapon and a potential NFL Offensive Player of the Year winner. Rarely does a trade such as this work out so well for both parties – but neither the Vikings nor the Bills are complaining too much.

And who knows, Diggs could get a ring from the current campaign when it’s all said and done.
