Ranking the Vikings preferred first-round playoff opponents

There are several teams the Minnesota Vikings could face in the Wild Card round of the NL playoffs. Which team should fans want them to face?

At the moment, the Minnesota Vikings seem in control of the No. 3 seed in the NFC but there is a chance they could reclaim the second spot if they can defeat the Bears on Sunday and the 49ers lose to the Cardinals.

This means the purple and gold are in line to face the No. 6 seed in the conference or possibly the seventh seed, creating four possible opponents for them to take on in the Wild Card round of the playoffs.

There are some matchups that could be more favorable than others in the first round of the playoffs. That includes three opponents they faced already this season and one that would be totally new to Minnesota this year.
