Home field is a fortress

U.S. Bank Stadium may not be mentioned by many among the biggest home-field advantages in the NFL, but the results since the opening of the facility combined with state-of-the-art practice facilities and offices have been huge in the development of the franchise.

In fact, Minnesota only lost one game at home; a disappointing flop against the number four-seeded Dallas Cowboys in November. It’s nice to know that the only teams the Vikings would have to travel against are the Eagles and 49ers through the NFC.

If they are matched up against any of the teams other than those two, Minnesota will host the game. The Vikings also do well in the noon or late afternoon time slot, something that fans of the purple and gold are used to.

There is something special about the atmosphere and building where the Minnesota Vikings play and it is something that fans should experience at least once to get the feeling of what experiencing a live football game is like.
