Early Groundhog Day

On Christmas Eve, the New York Giants made the trip to U.S. Bank Stadium to take on the Minnesota Vikings in Week 16 of the NFL season in a game where the team and fans wore all white considering the weather as well as a “white” Christmas.

It will be a rematch when the Giants return to the home of the Vikings on January 15 hoping to avenge their three-point loss

“I thought it would be a lot louder,” Giants offensive lineman Nick Gates said. “I thought especially when our offense is out there they would be a lot louder out there. But you know, they’re Midwest people. They’re too nice. I can say it because I went to Nebraska. I went to Nebraska. I include myself in that one.”

That alone is a call to Minnesota Vikings fans attending to the game on Saturday to be loud and rowdy to give the team a bigger home-field advantage and help them advance to the next round of the postseason.
