They already did it once

The best reason to think the Minnesota Vikings will beat the New York Giants on Sunday is that they already did it once. Sure, it will be a little different this time around, but the win still stands from the regular season.

New York limped into the playoffs, winning three of their last ten games with those wins coming against the Houston Texans, Washington Commanders, and Indianapolis Colts. Not very impressive opponents to beat.

That doesn’t mean the Giants aren’t a serious threat to the Vikings, in fact, if they can control the trenches and run the ball well, they could make things extremely difficult for Minnesota in the playoffs.

Their last meeting went down to the wire and needed a field goal that set a franchise record, but that doesn’t mean it can’t happen again. History can repeat itself and if it does, the Minnesota Vikings will be on a plane to San Francisco next week.
