Former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs was clearly frustrated as the Buffalo Bills fell to the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday.

It was a disappointing afternoon on Sunday for former Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Stefon Diggs as he and the Buffalo Bills were upset on their home field by the Cincinnati Bengals in the Divisional Round of the 2022 playoffs.

Following a failed fourth-down attempt by the Bills midway through the fourth quarter that ultimately sealed the loss, the television broadcast showed Diggs attempting to talk to Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen, who didn’t appear to acknowledge the receiver.

Many expected the Bills to defeat the Bengals on Sunday, but that’s not what happened. Cincinnati jumped out to a quick 14-0 lead, and they never looked back. Then Bengals wound up walking off of the field inside Highmark Stadium with a ticket to the AFC Championship after defeating Buffalo by a final score of 27-10.

In addition to his visible frustrations on the sideline, Diggs reportedly tried to get out of the building as soon as possible following the conclusion of Sunday’s game.

The former Vikings receiver was targeted 10 times against Cincinnati, but he only managed to haul in four passes for 35 yards. The Bengals did a great job on Diggs, and the talented pass-catcher was obviously frustrated by Sunday’s result.

It was a disappointing end to what was another very impressive season by Diggs. In his third year with the Bills, he finished the regular season with 108 catches for 1,429 yards and a career-high 11 touchdowns.

But just like his former team in the Twin Cities, Diggs and the rest of the Buffalo locker room will have to wait until the 2023 season before they can make another attempt at capturing the franchise’s first-ever Super Bowl win.
