If the Minnesota Vikings decide to move on from veteran wide receiver Adam Thielen during the 2023 offseason, which teams might want him on their roster?

Following the conclusion of his team’s 2022 season, there has been some speculation about whether or not Adam Thielen will continue his NFL career with the Minnesota Vikings in 2023.

Thielen has a cap hit of almost $20 million for next season, and after failing to finish with at least 1,000 receiving yards for the fifth year in a row, the Vikings would probably like him to take up a much lower percentage of their 2023 salary cap.

Whether Minnesota can figure out a way to reduce the cost of their veteran receiver before next season or not, it sounds like he might be interested in playing elsewhere in 2023.

Speculation about Thielen leaving the Vikings ramped up shortly after the team’s playoff exit when the receiver’s wife shared a cryptic image on her Instagram account featuring a message that mentioned the possibility of this season being the family’s last in Minnesota. His wife also left a comment on a post where she stated that her husband “wants opportunities to show what he can do and feel valued as a receiver.”

Despite the Vikings just winning 13 games for just the third time in the franchise’s history, it sounds like Thielen might want to explore other options for his next season in the NFL.

So if the veteran receiver ends up getting released or placed on the trade block by Minnesota this offseason, who are a few teams that could be interested in adding him to their roster?
