The Vikings will definitely be keeping close tabs on the cornerback groups at the Senior Bowl. The only three that they have set to return next year are Cameron Dantzler, Andrew Booth Jr., and Akayleb Evans. While those are all promising young players, they all have injury concerns and two will basically still be rookies when the 2023 season starts.

Minnesota needs more young talent to the mix and should watch everything that Tyrique Stevenson does during his week at the Senior Bowl. Stevenson has average size standing 6-feet and weighing 214 pounds, though it feels like he’s bigger because of his large wingspan.

He excels in press coverage, tracks the ball well, and is a very willing tackler. Stevenson also brings experience as a punt returner which is an area the Vikings could look to upgrade.

Stevenson’s technique needs a little bit of polishing and he only nabbed three career interceptions, but if Minnesota adds a linebacker or defensive tackle with their first pick, landing Stevenson in the third or fourth round would be a solid pickup.
