Who are some of the prospects in the 2023 NFL Draft pool that could catch the eye of new Minnesota Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores?

The Minnesota Vikings are in store for a complete defensive revamping this upcoming season. With new defensive coordinator Brian Flores at the helm, the shell defense will be no more, and it will most likely be replaced by a very aggressive, high-blitzing scheme.

While the Vikings currently have some solid pieces to build around, there is no denying that the team’s new defensive mindset will need some new faces to help out.

Minnesota having a defensively-heavy draft was expected for later this year no matter who was hired as the new defensive coordinator. But now with Flores in the lead, the prospects that the Vikings could be interested in gets a little clearer since we know his approach to defense.

This list of players will be a realistic group of prospects that Minnesota could land, so there won’t be anyone like Will Anderson Jr. or Jalen Carter, as they are locks to be gone long before the Vikings are on the clock.

So with that being said, here are some of the 2023 draft prospects that Flores might want for his defense in Minnesota.
