3 Vikings players who will not be missed in the 2023 season

Chandon Sullivan – CB
Whenever the opposing team made a big passing play against the Vikings during the 2022 season, it felt like Chandon Sullivan had something to do with it more often than not.
After signing a one-year deal with the team last March, Sullivan emerged as Minnesota’s starting slot corner for the 2022 campaign. With the way that he performed, there’s a good chance that the Vikings won’t be attempting to bring him back when he becomes a free agent in March.
During the 2022 season, Sullivan allowed the second-most receiving yards on Minnesota’s defense and opposing quarterbacks had a 102.7 rating when throwing in his direction. In addition to those underwhelming numbers, his PFF defensive grade for the 2022 campaign ranked 96th out of 118 qualifying cornerbacks in the NFL.
It’s safe to say that new Vikings defensive coordinator Brian Flores won’t be pounding the table for the team to re-sign Sullivan this offseason.
