Some players didn’t live up to their potential during the 2022 NFL season and were disappointing to both the team and its fans.

There was a lot to like about the Minnesota Vikings during the 2022 NFL season. In their first season under new head coach Kevin O’Connell, the team won the division and gave fans some moments they might never forget.

Not everything was all rainbows and roses last season. There were some things that just weren’t good. The defense was atrocious and an exit from the playoffs in the Wild Card round was a very disappointing finish to an exciting year.

Many players were very impressive over the course of the season while others didn’t quite live up to expectations. Those players could be considered major disappointments since they didn’t meet their potential.

Let’s take a look at six players who had some high expectations attached to them last season but didn’t quite live up to the hype. This doesn’t mean these are bad players, they just struggled in 2022.
