Ed Ingram, guard

The Minnesota Vikings desperately needed help on the interior of the offensive line and thought they were getting a solid player to plug in at right guard when they selected Ed Ingram in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Ingram will sadly be remembered for moving his left anchor leg back so far after the ball is snapped that he stepped on the foot of Kirk Cousins multiple times last season, essentially costing the team a down.

When Ingram wasn’t taking his own quarterback down, he was struggling to protect him as well as having a tough time creating running lanes. Ir was a rookie year that he, the team, and fans would likely want to forget.

Fans can hope that Ingram will improve as he enters his second year in the league. Or they can hope to find a replacement for him this offseason. It’s hard to know what direction the team will go with him.
