Vikings 2023 Draft: Seven-round post-Super Bowl mock draft
By Chris Schad
Third-Round (Pick No. 87)
Drew Sanders – LB (Arkansas)
Drew Sanders is another player that could rise up draft boards and has even been mocked to the Vikings as a first-round pick. His position could entice teams to wait on selecting him, however, and he’s available with the 87th overall pick in this situation.
Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Flores noted that he loves players that can be versatile. A former five-star edge rusher at Alabama, Sanders moved to the inside after transferring to Arkansas and had his most productive season with 103 total tackles and 9.5 sacks.
Sanders missed 22 tackles last season and will need to improve his coverage skills, but pairing him with Brian Asamoah could give the Vikings a duo of talented linebackers that can get after the quarterback.
