The Minnesota Vikings have the building blocks in place to make a deep run but they could still get better via the trade market this offseason.

After a strong 2022 season that saw the Minnesota Vikings finish 13-4, it is time for the franchise to shift focus toward a Super Bowl run. The offense carried the way last season but was unable to make up for the lack of defense in a playoff loss to the Giants at home.

They made a big splash at the trade deadline to acquire T.J. Hockenson from the Detroit Lions in a move that paid off wonderfully for Kirk Cousins and the passing attack. While they no longer have a second-round pick in the upcoming draft, they found a building block for the future with that selection regardless.

Now is the time to continue searching for proven players to add to the mix for a Super Bowl run just as other teams have done in recent years. The bulk of their moves should come on the defensive side of the ball but if a star is available that fills an offensive need, it is certainly worth considering.

With the NFL Draft just about two months away, how can the Vikings use their remaining selections to add quality NFL players to their roster?
