Jerick McKinnon, RB – Kansas City Chiefs
At one time, Jerick McKinnon was a member of the Minnesota Vikings. He and Matt Asiata combined to be a potent combination of speed and power that helped to bridge the gap between Adrian Peterson and Dalvin Cook.
McKinnon left the Vikings after the 2017 NFL season to pursue a bigger role with the San Francisco 49ers. He struggled with injuries while playing for the city by the bay and made his way to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Since arriving in Kansas City, he has carved a role out as both a rusher and receiver. He had 10 touchdowns and 803 yards from scrimmage as a part of a high-powered offense led by Patrick Mahomes.
Jerick McKinnon is set to become a free agent this offseason, but it wouldn’t be surprising if Kansas City brought him back after he made a notable play in the Super Bowl that helped the Chiefs win.
