Jayron Kearse, safety – Dallas Cowboys

The only defensive player on this list, Jayron Kearse was a seventh-round pick of the Minnesota Vikings in the 2016 NFL Draft. he stayed with the team for four years, playing in 62 games and starting five.

Kearse stayed in Minnesota for four seasons before spending one year with the Detroit Lions and eventually landing with the Dallas Cowboys for the 2021 season, earning a starting role as a safety in their defense.

In 2022, Kearse had career-highs in fumble recoveries and sacks, showcasing the variety of skills that he brings to the table for the Cowboys. he also tied his career-highs in forced fumbles and interceptions.

Unser contract for the 2023 season, Kearse is likely to return to Dallas unless he ends up being a salary cap casualty there. His release would be a bit of a surprise, but as we have learned, the NFL can be a bitter business.
