Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins will be featured in an upcoming docu-series on Netflix that will give an exclusive behind-the-scenes viewpoint.
During the 2022 NFL season, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins drifted out of his comfort zone in a variety of different ways.
With new Vikings head coach Kevin O’Connell giving him some much-needed confidence, Cousins took more chances on throws into tight coverage in 2022 than he typically has in the past. The Minnesota quarterback was also a bit more outgoing off the field as well last season, which led to the creation of the infamous “Kirko Chains” moments.
On Wednesday, we found out that the majority of Cousins‘ 2022 campaign was captured on film by a crew putting together a new docu-series for Netflix that will be available to stream this summer.
Minnesota Vikings QB Kirk Cousins to star in new Netflix reality show
“Quarterback” is the name of the Netflix show that will feature behind-the-scenes access to Cousins in addition to Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes and Atlanta Falcons signal-caller Marcus Mariota.
The streaming service describes the show as one that will go through the 2022 NFL season “through the eyes” of the three quarterbacks that are featured, and it will provide “unprecedented access.”
Will Cousins gain more popularity among the NFL fan base as a result of this show? Or will the show just provide more content to poke fun at the quarterback, who sometimes probably feels like he’s a lightning rod for unnecessary criticism?
