Be more aggressive on defense

This is extremely obvious. The passive nature of the Minnesota Vikings’ defense last season led to them giving up an alarming amount of yardage and points on a regular basis, even against teams with struggling offenses.

A new scheme will help this immediately, as sending pass rushers will help the young secondary as they grow and develop under the new regime in Minnesota. The new defensive coordinator should have some ideas.

Sadly, some established players on defense may not be there for Flores to make the most of due to the difficult salary cap situation the Vikings are in It will make being aggressive a little more of a challenge, but should still be a big goal.

If the Vikings can’t figure out some way to improve their defense, they are going to struggle mightily during the upcoming season,. This has to be a top priority for the team considering how disappointing they were last year.
